Movement & Motor Development Challenges
This section is intended for discussions related to motor development, movement, coordination, and physical functioning in individuals with CAMK2-related disorders. Topics may include developmental milestones, gross and fine motor skills, muscle tone abnormalities (hypotonia or hypertonia), balance and coordination difficulties, gait abnormalities, tremors, motor planning challenges, dyspraxia, strength and endurance, mobility aids, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other movement-related concerns.
Families, caregivers, clinicians, therapists, and researchers are encouraged to share experiences, questions, evaluations, interventions, and management strategies. By discussing movement and motor development across the community, we can better understand the wide range of motor presentations associated with CAMK2-related disorders and learn from one another’s experiences in supporting mobility, independence, and quality of life.
